SEO Robots.txt File

All of the major search engines look for a robots.txt file as soon as their spiders arrive on your site. It is a good idea to include this file in the root directory as it can act as an invitation into your site. By restricting search engine spiders from indexing selected areas of your site, you can improve how search engines index your site.
