Yahoo adds Dayparting For Pay-Per-Click Ads

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

Yahoo Dayparting comes as great news for PPC managers who have ever tried to controlĀ  PPC ad display manually in the past. Yahoo did not put in a bulk edit featureĀ  so you must set each campaign up individually.

To do this, click the edit campaign settings link and you will then see a new Ad Scheduling box in the bottom right. Click the edit button and you will be brought to the window to edit targeting options for your Yahoo ads.

Here is an example of what you should see:

Dayparting Yahoo ads will be particularly helpful with controlling ads on B2B campaigns, or accounts where ROI drops off on weekends or over night.
